We plan to have the final exam from 11:00am to 12:15pm on December 14th at the lecture rooms 302-105 and 302-106. The scope is Chap. 1.6, 1.9-1.10, 2.1-2.8, 2.13-2.14, 2.19, 4.1-4.8, 4.14, 5.1-5.4, 5.7-5.8 in the textbook and those materials covered by lecture slides and project assignments (especially,
snurisc5 and snurisc6). It will be a closed-book exam. Please note that the 1-page cheat sheet will not be allowed for the final exam.

We will have a midterm exam from 11:00 to 12:15 on October 19. Two lecture rooms, 301-118 (for 75 students, max capacity: 288) and 301-203 (for 22 students, max capacity: 72), have been reserved for the midterm. You can go either of lecture rooms you prefer (on a First-Come First-Served basis). The scope will be Chap. 1 (except 1.6 and 1.9), Chap. 2.1-2.7 (except 2.5), Chap. 3.1-3.6 plus those materials covered by lecture slides and project assignments. It’s a closed-book exam, but you can bring a 1-page cheat sheet (A4-size, both sides, hand-written only). It is highly recommended to arrive at one of the lecture rooms before 10:30. Also, please remember it is required for you to wear a face mask all the time during the exam. In case you are currently in self-quarantine or have COVID-19 symptoms, please let me know in advance.
